Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.

After 6 years in the Navy, 4 years of which were spent serving on Submarines, I got out and started a career in facilities maintenance. I met my wife, Kris, the fall of 1999 and we were married a year later. Our son, Noah, was born 11 months after that. My daughter, Kaara was born in Jiangxi Province, PRC.
